The wait for Stranger Things 5 is almost over. Netflix has officially revealed the release dates, episode titles, and global premiere times for the final season of the popular sci-fi series. Fans in India and Sri Lanka will be able to watch the episodes early in the morning as they release worldwide.
The final season will be released in three volumes. Volume 1 will premiere on November 27, 2025, at 6:30 a.m. IST. Volume 2 will follow on December 26, 2025, at 6:30 a.m. IST, and the finale will be available on January 1, 2026, at 6:30 a.m. IST. Each volume is released simultaneously with the global schedule, which begins at 5:00 p.m. PST.
Netflix has also released the titles for all eight episodes of the final season. They are: “The Crawl,” “The Vanishing of …,” “The Turnbow Trap,” “Sorcerer,” “Shock Jock,” “Escape From Camazotz,” “The Bridge,” and “The Rightside Up.” The titles suggest high-stakes drama, emotional moments, and long-awaited revelations about the Upside Down.
Set in 1987, the story picks up after the catastrophic opening of the Rifts. Hawkins is under military quarantine, and Eleven is forced back into hiding as the government intensifies its pursuit. Vecna has disappeared, but his influence remains. As the anniversary of Will Byers’ disappearance approaches, the group must reunite one last time to defeat a darkness more powerful than anything they have faced before. Co-creator Ross Duffer has promised that the final season will reveal the last secrets of the Upside Down and bring the story full circle.
The returning cast includes Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Noah Schnapp, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Jamie Campbell Bower. New additions include Linda Hamilton as Dr. Kay and Alex Breaux as Lt. Akers.
The final season of Stranger Things will stream exclusively on Netflix in India and Sri Lanka at 6:30 a.m. IST on the release dates mentioned above. Fans can add the series to their watchlist and prepare for the conclusion of one of the most iconic sci-fi series of the decade.
