Dude Trailer Promises a Whirlwind of Love, Laughter, and Lessons

Pradeep Ranganathan appears to embark on an emotional rollercoaster of love, heartbreak, and healing in the trailer of his upcoming film Dude. The much-anticipated trailer, unveiled by the makers on Thursday, showcases Pradeep as Agan – a quirky event organiser navigating the highs and lows of romance and self-discovery.

Mamitha Baiju stars as Kural, Agan’s cousin (“mama ponnu”) and colleague in their event management venture. While Agan, who has always been single, begins to develop romantic feelings for Kural, she doesn’t share the same sentiment. What follows is a lively montage of Agan’s journey through love, loss, and eventual acceptance – packed with humor, chaos, and heartfelt moments. With Pradeep’s signature eccentric charm and Mamitha channeling her Premalu energy, Dude promises a fun, heartfelt, and wacky cinematic experience.

The film is written and directed by Keerthiswaran and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers, with Anil Yerneni as co-producer. The ensemble cast also features R Sarath Kumar, Hridhu Haroon, Rohini, Aishwarya Sharma, and Dravid Selvam.

Marking his Tamil cinema debut, Sai Abhyankkar composes the music for Dude, while the technical team includes Niketh Bommi (cinematography), Barath Vikraman (editing), Latha Naidu (production design), and stunt choreographers Yannick Ben and Dinesh Subbarayan.

With Love Insurance Kompany postponed to December 18, Dude now stands as Pradeep Ranganathan’s sole release on October 17. The day will also see the release of other Tamil films, including Mari Selvaraj’s Bison Kaalamaadan, Harish Kalyan’s Diesel, Carmeni Selvam, and Kambi Katna Kathai.
