Actress Priyanka Arul Mohan, who has impressed audiences with her roles in Captain Miller and Don, is now stepping into a new phase of her career. Even as she awaits the release of the highly anticipated Telugu film They Call Him OG, where she stars opposite Pawan Kalyan, Priyanka has signed her first OTT project.
She will play the lead in a Netflix original film, marking her debut on digital platforms and her first female-centric role. The project will be directed by Ra Karthik, best known for his heartfelt storytelling in Nitham Oru Vaanam. The director is also set to helm Nagarjuna’s milestone 100th film, King 100.
Produced by Rise East Entertainment, the Netflix project is currently in pre-production. To prepare for her role, Priyanka will travel to South Korea, hinting at an international backdrop. Industry sources say she was drawn to Ra Karthik’s script, calling it “fresh and emotionally engaging.”
This project represents a significant career milestone for Priyanka, positioning her to transition from popular supporting roles to leading performances while reaching a wider global audience.
